Transfer Latest: Karius Completes Moves To Besiktas

Liverpool goal-keeper Loris Karius has completed his move to Turkish club Besiktas on a two-year loan deal.

Loris Karius has signed a two-year loan deal.

A nightmare has come to an end for Karius as he is on his way to Turkey. After two horrible errors in the champions league final against Real Madrid, life has been difficult for Karius since then.

He has been heavily criticised all over the world and those mistakes edged him towards the exit from Anfield. With the record signing of Allison Bekar, it was only about time to see Karius moving to another club. However, it it is loan deal but the possibility of Karius of moving back to Anfield is very low.

Liverpool subsequently splashed out £65 million ($83m) on Brazil international Alisson from Roma. And Karius has now been allowed to leave and rebuild his career in the Turkish Super Lig side. He made 49 appearances for Liverpool after arriving from Mainz in 2016.

Liverpool stated: “Everybody at LFC wishes Loris the best of luck during his loan spell.”

Meanwhile, Besiktas have finally got their man. They were trying to make the deal done since the last two weeks. Now it has been finally done and dusted.

Karius played in the pre-season games for Liverpool, but he was benched as soon as the Premier League started. While Allison’s career at Liverpool started with the best possible way as he as three clean sheets in three matches. Jurgen Klopp’s men are off to a firing start with three wins in a row.

Karius will replace Fabri at Besiktas. Earlier, Fabri joined joined newly-promoted Fulham. The goal-keeper wanted to take a new challenge and he found Premier League to be the best choice.
