The summer transfer window has just got over but the world transfer rumours seem to have been still active as the clubs are gearing up for the January transfer window.
In recent news, the biggest rumour which is being speculated is that Premier League giants Arsenal FC are planning to raid La Liga giants Real Madrid in January to sign their star midfielder Isco.
Daily Express reports, that, for a now long time, the Spaniard has been under Arsene Wenger’s radar and the Frenchman would soon convince the North-London club to splash a big sum on Isco transfer. If reprots are to be believed Isco’s market value is somewhere around £37 million.
Arsenal started spending big since 2013 season when they got hold of German midfielder Mesut Ozil from Real for a club record transfer fee of £42.5 million. The succeeding the season they signed out of favour Barcelona star Alexis Sanchez and the player did wonders for the club. The Gunners won back to FA Cups in the last two seasons.
Surprisingly, Arsene Wenger was shy of spending during this transfer window as Arsenal spend a nominal £10 million to sign Chelsea star Petr Cech. The club was linked with several big names like Karim Benzema, Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic but none of the deals materialised.
Time and again the club and the veteran manager has been criticised heavily for not spending enough and spoiling the image of the prestigious club. The latest transfer window just piled up on Arsenal fans’ frustrations.
The latest rumours though would give the fans some hope as Isco is world class player and his arrival would definitely revive the side.
Isco is predominantly a central attacking midfielder can also play in either of the wings and if needed as a central forward. Isco’s versatility on the field is huge appreciated by many. Isco currently does not feature in the starting XI of Real Madrid which would tip him to leave the club if a lucrative deal is offered to him.
He can be an answer to Arsenal’s several problems and would certainly make them worthy of winning the title.
Whether the rumours is just a mere speculation or not only time will tell but for now Arsenal fans can rejoice about Isco’s link with the club.
