Trending: Twitter Reacts As Liverpool Suffer Shock Defeat To Leicester City By 3-1
Feb 28, 2017 at 11:38 AM
Liverpool have suffered an embarrassing 3-1 loss to Leicester City at King Power stadium as Jurgen Klopp led men have looked completely out of sorts in an important fixture in the current context of their season.
The Reds had a two week break ahead of the game as they spent their break training in Spain. But they have not managed to improve much as their horrendous streak of results continue in 2017.
The result meant that the Reds have only two games in 2017 so far including a win against Plymouth. A series of poor results meant they were knocked out from EFL Cup and FA Cup and with the current loss to Leicester, Liverpool are also losing their chance to break into top four at the end of the season.
Leicester have played their first game without a manager, as they sacked Claudio Ranieri last week, but have looked decent courtesy of a poor Liverpool outing. Having not scored at least once in Premier League in 2017, the hosts have put three into the net before Liverpool could pull back in their thumping victory.
Jamie Vardy opened the scoring after half an hour into the game before Danny Drinkwater doubled the lead for Leicester. The Foxes have soon scored the third goal thanks to Jamie Vardy’s brace. Liverpool managed to pull one back courtesy of Coutinho with 20 minutes to go. But Leicester were resolute in their defense to clinch three important points to stay 2 points clear off relegation at the moment.
Here we look at how twitter reacted for Liverpool’s poor showing yet again in 2017.
Don't know which one is more hilarious 😂

Man Utd bring on Rooney.
Chelsea bring on Fabregas.
Man City bring on Aguero.
Liverpool bring on Woodburn. That's the difference.

Liverpool have won just two games in their last 12 appearances in all competitions. One of those wins was vs Plymouth. Shambolic.
