Jose Mourinho will be a frustrated manager as his Manchester United side failed to take advantage of the slipus of the team above them in the points table.
They failed to break Marco Silva’s Hull City side in the Premier League earlier this week and are went on to gift them a point from the home tie. This 0-0 draw keeps them in the 6th place in the points table, no closer to a place in the Champions League next season.
The manager made no additions to his squad in the winter transfer window recently but if the Red Devils continue to suffer, he might have to dive into the transfer market big time in the summer.
And according to a story run by Yahoo Sports, Jose Mourinho has already finished a deal in principle for his first summer signing.

The report suggests that the Old Trafford outfit have held talks with the player and his representatives in the January transfer window and that they ‘already have the basis of an agreement in place’ to sign him in the summer.
The French international is one of the best players in his position in Europe at the moment and was on target last night in the Copa del Rey fixture against Atletico Madrid.
He is an in-demand star with Chelsea and Manchester United both fighting for his signature while Pep Guardiola is also trying to snatch him up.
And these reports will come as a blow to the clubs around the Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho might have just made the biggest coup of the summer already.
The Red Devils broke the world record for transfer fees at the start of the current season, spending £89m on Paul Pogba, and they will have to get close or even break that figure to land the French star at the end of the season.
There are a section of fans that believe that the Griezmann news is a cover up for the team’s disappointing performance against the Tigers recently and this may not be too far from the truth.
The Express ran a story earlier today claiming that a source close to the Old Trafford denied any such agreements leaving the fans disappointed yet again.
Griezmann or no Griezmann, Manchester United will have to fight hard to move into the Champions League spots else, they might be in danger of losing a chance to sign the 25-year old in the summer.
