Tutorial!! Suarez Gives Amazing One To One Shooting Lesson
Mar 28, 2017 at 11:56 AM
Luis Suarez has developed from a world-class striker into arguably the best forward in the world since his move to Barcelona in 2014.
Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin, who has the unfortunate task of facing Suarez at least twice every season and also during Uruguay training, certainly agrees with that statement.
“He’s the best No. 9 in the world, the best striker,” Godin told ESPN last year. “It is very difficult to mark him, since we always come up against each other.
“He is very crafty, has great movement in the area and is an extremely complicated attacker to defend against.”
Suarez enjoyed the best season of his career in 2015-16, scoring 59 goals for Barcelona in all competitions, and only Lionel Messi is ahead of him in the La Liga scoring table this term.
Robert Lewandowski is a worthy competitor to Suarez for the title of best striker in the game. But if you’re after a tenacious, fiery goalscorer, then Suarez is your guy.
He’s not everyone’s favourite person. Indeed, some of his behaviour on the field has been frankly disgusting.
But from an ability standpoint, there isn’t a better player for aspiring strikers to study intensely.
SUAREZ’S SHOOTING LESSON
Thankfully for any young goalscorer, Suarez has teamed up with YouTubers F2Freestylers to deliver a lesson in shooting.
One point Suarez was eager to stress is the importance of confidence. “If you shoot with confidence then maybe 80 per cent of the time, it’s a goal,” he says.

It’s certainly worth giving Suarez’s advice a go the next time you’re having a kick about in the park.
