Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC have started their season with a clash against inaugural champions Atletico de Kolkata in what is dubbed to be as the clash of the champions.
The fixture has not let the fans down as it had fair number of twists as both the teams looked sharp over the course of the game as they managed one point each after their 2-2 draw.
The high profile game have not had any goals in the first half despite both the sides crating chances but the second half has seen four goals between the two sides. Sameehg Doutie opened the scoring for Atletico de Kolkata just at the stroke of an hour but Chennaiyin FC have hit back hard as they have scored two goals in the span of four minutes.
However, Atletico have managed to crawl back to get a point from the game when they were awarded a penalty with Jerry fouling Doutie inside the box. Hume has converted the penalty to equalize as Atletico has managed their home record of never losing to Chennaiyin FC.
Here we look at how the twitter reacted as Atletico Madrid held off defending champions Chennaiyin FC.
