Chelsea has managed a narrow but a well deserved 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion in Stamford Bridge as they go back to the top of the Premier League, three points clear of their closest rivals Arsenal.
The result also meant the Blues have now won nine Premier League games in a row, a streak that saw them reach the top of the table from languishing long away from the then leaders Manchester City in September.
The streak also saw Chelsea beat the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Tottenham comfortably making them one of the serious contenders to win the league this season.
West Brom has been very well organised in the defence which made it difficult for Chelsea attackers to break into opposition’s box. However, despite all the resilience, Chelsea have found a way to score the only goal of the game – courtesy of Diego Costa.
Cesc Fabregas started the move with a terrific pass and Diego Costa scored a sensational goal after 76 minutes to put Chelsea in front. The goal has made Costa the leading goal scorer in the league with 12 goals and has looked far more composed in the recent games as he has not racked up any yellow cards off late.
Here we look the twitter reactions as Chelsea continue to impress in the Premier League.
