Manchester United win the bragging rights for the time being as they outscore rivals Liverpoo 3-1 to bag crucal three points at Old Trafford tonight.
After a boring first half, the dealock broke in the beginning of the second half when Ashley Young was brought down by Nathaniel Clyne. Juan Mata took an intelligent grounder free-kick toward Daley Blind who blasted the ball into the back of the net. Ander Herrera increased the lead from the penalty spot after Joe Gomez brought down Herrera inside the box.
Christian Benteke pulled one back in the dying moments of the match from a brilliant scissor volley but the it was definitely tailor made for United debutante Anthony Martial who scored a prolific debut goal.
As United beat rivals Liverpool fans around the world reacted on twitter.

Not a good game and worst score. Lfc 1 vs Mufc 3. Time to think where is the team going. Benteke the only spark. #ynwa
