Arsenal hosted Swansea City at the Emirates on Wednesday and were desperate for a win, as they looked keen to stay in the title race. The north London side were not in the best of form in recent weeks and were looking to turn things around, as they looked to
claim all three points on the night. Arsene Wenger’s side started the game well and Joel Campbell was the star of the moment, as he put them ahead in the 15th minute with a super finish to beat Lukas Fabianski.
The home side looked totally in control before the away side managed to find an equalizer in the 32nd minute, as Wayne Routledge placed his shot to beat Petr Cech and make it 1-1. Both teams made it to the interval with everything to play for after an interesting half.
There were no more goals in the game until the 70th minute, as Ashley Williams put one into the back of the Arsenal net in the 74th-minute, beating Cech and scoring the winner. Arsenal put in their best effort, as they tried to score an equalizing goal, yet failed to deliver.
The home side hit the frame of the goal thrice in a single game and eventually were unlucky as they failed to take something from the game as it ended in a 2-1 win for the visitors.
Here is how the fans reacted on Twitter to this loss for Wenger’s team:

@Arsenal fans have to see the difference btwn want & belief. We all want them to always win. A lot fewer believe it’s possible now. #COYG
