Manchester United tame Dick Advocat’s Sunderland 3-0 to go up to the top of the table.
Memphis Depay gave United the lead in the first half from a fantastic pass from Juan Mata. Daley Blind floated a cross from the midfield which was recieved by Mata inside the penalty box. Mata’s cheeky pass was tapped in easily by Memphis Depay who scored his debut Premier League goal.
Wayne Rooney found his scoring boots finally as he scored the second goal from Anthony Martial’s pass. Martial worked hard to dribble past two defenders and passed it to Rooney who tapped it in with his knee. Although the goal wasn’t very good but it was required to boost Rooney’s confidence.
Juan Mata hammered the last nail in the coffin to confirm all three points with a tantalizing goal in the dying moments.
As United go to the top of the table, Red Devils around the world rejoiced on twiter.

Martial showed today that he’s more than just a goal scorer. Glad to see a less frustrating Rooney as well. #MUFC

@AnthonyMartial‘s getting better, kept it simple. @WayneRooney got his mojo back slowly, while @juanmata8‘s been our best player this season
