Leicester City drew 1-1 against the mighty Manchester United at the King Power Stadium as they remain at the top half of the league table.
The home side took the lead in the 24th of the match when Leicester’s star striker and prolific goal scorer Jamie Vardy scored yet another fantastic goal to enter into the history books.
Leicester City made a brilliant counter attack as Christian Fuchs assisted an neat pass towards Jamie Vardy. The English sensation completed yet another cool headed finish to break Manchester United great Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 consecutive matches.
It was indeed a great achievement for Vardy as the record breaking goal came against Van Nistelrooy’s former side.
Leicester’s joy was although short lived as Bastian Schweinsteiger scored an equalising goal at the stroke of half time from Wayne Rooney pin point corner. It was a clinical finish from the German midfield maestro.
It was an evenly fought game which would go down into the history books due to Jamie Vardy’s historic strike.
