Jurgen Klopp’s journey in EPL did not begin in a fairytale fashion as Liverpool were held by Tottenham Hotspur in 0-0 stalemate.
Liverpool were jolted with several blows before the match as they lost Joe Gomez, Danny Ings and star striker Daniel Sturridge due to injuries. In the main forwards’ availability, Jurgen Klopp was forced to field youngster Divock Origi.
Liverpool under Klopp looked energised as attacked in numbers from the very beginning.
The Belgian international Origi headed a ball which hit the net and came back. It was unlucky moment for the Reds. Spurs later came back strongly into the match after an initial setback but Liverpool defense were rock solid.
As the match ended in 0-0 draw, here are the best tweets of the day.

Excited to see what Klopp can do once he has his own team. The pressing in this game was amazing.

What a first game for Klopp. I didn’t think there would be much difference after one week but damn. Liverpool… http://t.co/b7xaGPlunZ

Very happy with a draw in Klopp’s first game. This starting 11 wouldn’t be the ideal one tbh, so we did well.
