On the 31st August, transfer deadline day in Spain, Manchester United dramatically retained the service of their Spanish superstar goalkeeper David De Gea at the club. It was reported initially that the deal has been agreed with Real Madrid and the custodian would join La Liga but in the end due to paperwork issues the deal halted and De Gea remained at Manchester United.
From the beginning of the transfer window, David De Gea wanted to join Real Madrid and the main person behind De Gea’s decision was his girlfriend. De Gea is Madrid boy and thus, he wanted to move to his hometown to stay with his girlfriend who lives at the Spanish capital.
Manchester United fans understandably were not happy with the goalkeeper’s girlfriend and when the deal halted, fans around the world made a mockery out of David De Gea’s girlfriend on twitter.
