Liverpool were at their imperious best against Watford as they scored a massive 6-1 win against the Hornets on Sunday night.
The result meant the Reds are now the league leaders with both Arsenal and Manchester City dropping points this week in their respective fixtures. Liverpool also created a new record for the most number of shots on target in a Premier League since Opta has started maintaining stats.
The Reds were dominant throughout the game as they were a goal up at 27 minutes courtesy Sadio Mane and the lead was soon doubled up by Coutinho. Emre Can made it 3-0 before the end of first half.
Liverpool did not take their foot off the gas as they kept pressing and found further success from strikes of Firminio and Mane. However, Watford managed to pull one back as Daryl Janmaat put the visitors on goal count. However, Gergio Wijnaldum ensured another goal in the injury time as Reds completed their dominant performance with an impressive scoreline of 6-1, as they managed a whopping 17 shots on target in the game.
Here we look at how twitterati reacted to the Reds massive victory as they became the league leaders.
