The top flight of English football has always produced some world class entertainers who have taken the game and the league to a whole new level.
Over the years, a number of stars have grazed the turfs in the country and have provided the fans with plenty of moments to savor and the last few seasons of the Premier League have been no different.
The likes of Paul Pogba, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Dimitri Payet, N Golo Kante and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have joined the league in the last few transfer windows and have taken away all the spotlight during the league.
However, one player who is highly under-rated in the Premier League at the moment is Southampton defender Virgil van Dijk.

The 25-year old first choice center back for the Dutch National team is slowly growing into one of the best defenders in the league this season.
Claude Puel fought very hard to keep him at the club for another season with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool extensively linked with a move for the defender in the summer transfer window.
However, the manager might not be able to keep him at the club till the end of the season as a number of Premier League clubs are ready to pounce on him after the turn of the year.
According to recent reports, Virgil van Dijk is wanted by Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton who are convinced that he is the best defender in the league at the moment.

The 25-year old has stitched a superb partnership with the experienced Jose Fonte at the St Marys and has made the Saints one of the toughest defenses in the Premier League.
But problems at the back for all three clubs might see them lure him out in January. And all three clubs were given huge boost earlier this week after reports revealed his release clause.
According to reports from the Mirror, an Dijk will not cost €40m -€50m like it was earlier reported and that he has a release clause in his contract that can be activated for just £25m in January.
That is a price that will not budge too many teams in the League and Liverpool are reportedly in pole position to sign their man come the start of the winter transfer window.
Manchester United are also interested in Jose Fonte, Van Dijk’s partner while Everton’s manager Ronald Koeman, is keen on a reunion with the player who he bought to the league.
Van Dijk is surely a top class player who deserves to play for the best teams in the league and it will be interesting to see which of the three clubs are able to price him away, if he is ready to leave the club in January.
Do you think Southampton will lose Van Dijk in January?
