Liverpool fans love a good cult hero. Take away your Stever Gerrards, Jamie Carraghers and Robbie Fowlers and you still have the likes of Dirk Kuyt, Titi Camara and Djimi Traore, but perhaps the most surprising of them all is former Croatian international Igor Biscan.
The central midfielder was used in nearly every position from centre back to winger, as he tried his hardest to earn a place in the Reds’ first team during his four and a half years on Merseyside.
His displays were inconsistent but he did record a number of memorable performances in front of an applauding Kop. He left the club a Champions League winner and remains a fan favourite.
