The manager of Crystal Palace Alan Pardew was involved his Manchester City counterpart Manuel Pellegrini on a touchline bust-up during the to top table clash between the two sides at Selhurst Park.

City star Yaya Toure fouled Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur recklessly and was booked by the referee Mike Jones.

An angry Alan Pardew approached the fourth official but was then pushed back by Pellegrini who gestured for him to return to his own technical area.

Here is the video of the incident:

The two managers have, of course, something of a history, with Pardew forced to apologise to Pellegrini for swearing at the City boss during a 2-0 defeat as Newcastle manager in January 2014.

The half time score was 0-0 as both sides looking to break the deadlock. Manchester City started without David Silva and also lost the service of Sergio Aguero during the first half due to injury. Record signing for the Cityzens, Kevin De Bruyne made his debut for the Argentine striker on the 25th minute.

The City has 12 points from four games this season and Palace has 9 and both are looking to win the match for pushing for a top spot.
