Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas bids an emotional farewell to his childhood club as he is heading towards FC Porto. The goalkeeper will move out of the club after spending 25 years at Santiago Bernabeu.

The speculations regarding Casillas’ transfer came to prominance after the end of 2014/15 season. He was slowly losing form and looked shaky at times. Thus, Real Madrid were planning to raid Manchester United to sign another Spaniard David De Gea. The Real Madrid De Gea links more or less confirmed the news that Casillas would depart, though he has a contract untill 2017.

Yesterday, 11th July, Real Madrid officially announced that Iker Casillas would leave the club this summer after they had agreed terms with FC Porto.
