Video: Ex Manchester United player questioned openly by his club president with a SLAP
Days after the rumour mill going berserk with “Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid” buzz, respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague had said, “Ronaldo is planning to leave Real, with PSG being his likely destination.”
In last night’s Real Madrid vs PSG game, which ended 1-0 in Real’s favour; Ronaldo had a quiet game, he even went on to give PSG coach Blanc a very warm and lengthy hug. All things are just adding more fuel to the speculation of Ronaldo to PSG.
Just before the match, when Real Madrid team came down from the team bus, there stood Real president Florentino Perez waiting. After greeting the players, Perez stopped Ronaldo and questioned him about his interview with German magazine Kicker, where Ronaldo said he is unsure about his Real Madrid future.
CR7 reportedly told Kicker, “Right now, I play for Real Madrid, but you never know. You have to do whatever makes you happy. You never know what happens tomorrow. I can only say that I will always give it my all for my club and my country.”
To stop Ronaldo and publicly ask him questions do indicate an omen.
Perez asked him whether what was written in Kicker was true or not, Ronaldo was stunned.
He replied, “yo no he dicho eso” that means “I did not say that.” when Perez asked him “What did you say? that you are leaving Real Madrid?” With a slap on his cheek.
“I didn’t say this, I said something different,” Ronaldo replied.
Here is a video of that instance:
