Defending FA Cup champions Arsenal take on Burnley FC on Saturday at the Emirates stadium in a crucial FA Cup fourth round game. Arsenal will start this with boosted confidense as several key players are back from injury.

Last week in the Premier League the Gunners went down against arch-rivals Chelsea by a goal to nil and thus got demoted to the third position in the league table behind Leicester City and Manchester City.

Ahead of the game against Burnley Wenger made the announcement that most of his star players are back from injury. Some of the notable names in that rank are Alexis Sanchez, Dany Welbeck, Thomas Rosicky.

Speaking ahead of the game Wenger said: “We have many players back in training. Everybody but Cazorla and Wilshere are in training.

“Coquelin is in contention for tomorrow. The results are good. It is too soon for Welbeck.

“Welbeck is coming back. Alexis Sanchez is back. We have the number of players we need upfront.

“Kieran Gibbs is a quality player. He will get games but there is competition.”

On the FA Cup tie against Burnley, he opined: “All their players used to play in the Premier League. They will be competitive.

“We have to earn the right to qualify. I will make some changes for the game.”

When asked on the Chelsea defeat last week the Gunners boss said: “You learn from defeat. The unfortunate thing is we didn’t have a bad performance.”

Arsene Wenger was asked about his own future at the club to which he replied: “There’s 18 months left, that’s an eternity. I’m committed to this club.

“I’m completely focused on doing well. I want to give absolutely everything until the end.”

The French boss also confirmed that David Ospina will start between the sticks in place of Petr Cech.

New signing Mohamed Elneny could feature while Francis Coquelin could also start.

The Arsenal boss said: “We have to earn the right to qualify. I will make some changes for the game.”
