Arsenal’s Player of the Season Alexis Sanchez is open to a move to league rivals Manchester United or Manchester City at the end of the season according to a report in Don Balon.
Real Madrid and Chelsea have also been extensively linked with the Chilean but the report suggests that Sanchez would turn down all offers from Stamford Bridge. However, it’s not something that the Arsenal fans can rejoice about as the report also points out that Alexis will be willing to talk to the 2 Manchester clubs.

Pep Guardiola was Alexis’s coach at FC Barcelona and recent reports suggest that Pep still rates the Chilean very highly and is keen to work with him at his new club. However, Pep Guardiola’s new club is not yet known and the report suggests that Alexis’ future could also depend on Pep Guardiola’s new club. If Pep joins the blue side of Manchester, Alexis will move to Manchester City and if Pep moves to the red half of Manchester, United will sign him.

27-year-old Alexis Sanchez has taken the Premier League by storm since his arrival from FC Barcelona in 2014 and has already established himself as a Gunners fan-favourite. He was Arsenal’s top-scorer last season and guided the club to a third-placed Premier League finish apart from playing an influential role in the Gunners successful FA Cup campaign.

A move to either Manchester club seems out of the question at this part of his career as Alexis is only into his second season with the club and there is absolutely no reason for him to leave the Gunners with Arsenal competing for trophies. Moreover, Arsene Wenger will be reluctant to sell one of his most-prized assets to a direct rival.
