Ana Maria Hernandez, the mother of Georgina Rodriguez and future mother-in-law of Cristiano Ronaldo, has not received much attention. Despite her daughter’s enormous fame and celebrity position, nothing is known about the mother who brought up the Argentine influencer and model.
Born in the Spanish town of Aguilas, Ana Maria Hernandez, gave birth to her daughters in Buenos Aires, Argentina, according to sources from La Vanguardia (via El Comercio). Hernandez and her husband Jorge Eduardo Rodriguez relocated their family to Spain following the birth of Georgina in 1994.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina opens up about her family
Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend hails from an interesting family, with her late father even having a criminal history. While her mother is Spanish, Georgina Rodriguez’s father is Argentinian. Her father, Jorge Rodriguez, was a drug trafficker who was imprisoned for ten years. Jorge completed two terms of imprisonment in Spain.
In 2003, he was found guilty of orchestrating a scheme to smuggle more than £100,000 of 83% pure cocaine from Spain to France, and was given an 11-year prison sentence. He was released on parole in 2008 but returned to prison soon after for conspiring with others to smuggle £1 million worth of cannabis resin out of Morocco and into Spain. He was given a two-year sentence and released in 2013.
In 2019, Jorge passed away at the age of 70. According to reports, he had problems from a stroke he had two and a half years prior. Georgina has a sister named Ivana. Her mother, Ana Maria Hernandez currently resides in Italy. Rodriguez spoke of her mother in an interview (via El Mundo):
“My father is Argentine and my mother is from Murcia. They went to Buenos Aires with my sister Ivana so they could meet my father’s family. They decided to stay there for a while and I was born. My father tried to convince my mother to live in Argentina, but he was unsuccessful and, when I was one year old, they returned to Murcia. Later, we moved to live in Jaca.”

Georgina Rodriguez’s mother has been crucial to the family’s entry into the hotel business, despite her seeming discretion and secrecy. According to El Mundo, the Rodriguez family made a purchase of a hamburger restaurant in Jaca’s thriving bar district. According to the rumour, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future mother-in-law accepted the challenge of running the restaurant.
But, despite their best efforts, the restaurant ultimately failed to succeed, and a year later the family was forced to shut its doors. During this time, Georgina’s parents also split up, which heightened the intrigue around Hernandez’s history and private life.
This is Cristiano Ronaldo’s most serious relationship since splitting from Irina in 2015. In 2017, Georgina gave birth to a girl; her first with the Al Nassr forward. The pair then revealed that they were expecting twins in 2021. While many speculations have been reported about their marriage, the Portugal captain asserted that although he and Rodriguez have spent many happy years together, they “deserve” to get married. Cristiano Ronaldo told Piers Morgan in an interview back in November:
“I’m not thinking now about that, but I can see [us getting married] in the future,” said Ronaldo. “I think I deserve [it], she deserves [it].”
