The international break is here and that means that he club games will move into the background.
Various footballing powerhouses around the world will now fight for a slightly different cause. As a neutral and as a fan of the sport, it is always nice to see countries, with abundant potential in their ranks take on each other at the highest stage.
In such cases, it does not come as a surprise that players from different club, often even rivals, play alongside each other for the ultimate glory.
It is not always easy to make amends with arch rivals but Real Madrid star Sergio Ramos knows what he will do this international break.

The 30-year old has been in solid form for the Champions of Europe this season and still stands as one of the best defenders around the world.
He is expected to partner Gerard Pique, a Barcelona defender and an arch rival for the Madrid defender, in the backline for the Spanish national side this international break.
It is insane watching two of the best defenders in the game alongside each other and if you were wondering whether their club rivalries will come to fore, Ramos has just answered you question.
Speaking to Spanish media outfit AS, Ramos revealed that their rivalry at the domestic level will not come inbetween their national duties and that he is ready to give Pique a big hug when he meets him.

“It’s the way it is between Real Madrid and Barcelona and that will not change,” he said – via AS.
“Now, I will give him a hug. We have become accustomed to throwing stones, but we take it without malice and it is always healthy.”
“That serves as something for you to sell. The key is the unity in the team, and that cannot be lost,” he added.
With 10 goals in all competitions this season, Ramos is currently the most productive defender in Europe in front of goal but he insists that he does not do anything special to try and score.
“I didn’t expect to score as many goals. It is the best record of my career as a goalscorer, but I don’t think too much about it,” Ramos said.
“As a defender, I am thinking more about conceding as little as possible. If I can score in important matches late on, even better.”
Spain play against Israel in their qualifying group on Friday, before a trip to France for a friendly the following Tuesday.
