Bournemouth pulled off one of the comebacks of the season to beat Liverpool 4-3.
Nathan Ake’s injury-time winner sparked crazy scenes at Dean Court, with the Cherries having turned the game around after being outclassed in the first half.
Ryan Fraser won special plaudits for his contribution after coming on, winning a penalty, scoring, and assisting Ake.
That’s not to say there was universal praise for the Bournemouth players, however, with one being singled out on social media. It just goes to show that even when your team’s won, there will always be someone having their say somewhere.
Jack Wilshere has finally started to put a run of games together, but he failed to make much of an impact on this one.
The on-loan Arsenal midfielder will have quickly found out that he can’t hide behind his Cherries team-mates, his most notable moment of the game coming when he was booked for dissent.
WILSHERE TAKES A BATTERING
Remember when Arsenal fans praised Jack Wilshere like a God yet now his numbers don’t even touch Joe Allen’s

You simply don’t lose to a team which has Jack Wilshere in it

I’d still rather be me, eating pringles, supporting a team that just lost to a team containing Jack Wilshere, than be Jack Wilshere

Bournemouth fans singing ” you dont know what you’re doin” – must be to jack wilshere. He is useless

I’m a fan of Bournemouth, well-run club but simply can’t agree with general feeling on Sky that it was positive move for Jack Wilshere…

It wasn’t long before he was being absolutely ripped apart on Twitter. It seems fans of almost every Premier League club have an opinion on the England international, and some of them are pretty brutal.
He’d better hope Arsene Wenger wasn’t watching – except he almost certainly will have been, as Liverpool’s defeat has given Arsenal a huge boost in the title race.
Perhaps the 24-year-old’s been a victim of his own success, but he’s doing little to live up to the potential he showed as a teenager.
The whole point of Wilshere’s one-year stint on the South Coast was to prove that he’s still worth his place at the Emirates, but while he finally seems to be overcoming his injury problems, he hasn’t really achieved much else.
