Zlatan Ibrahimovic agrees personal terms with Manchester United

Manchester United and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola are said to have finalized talks over a £220,000 a week deal. The Swede striker is set to put pen to paper on a year-long deal at Old Trafford after apparently letting Tottenham know that in the Premier League United are the only club he wanted to sign for.

Zlatan have completed three years at the League 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain and is now available for free. But the 34-year-old wants reassurances and thus, he wants to discuss his future role at the club with United’s newly appointed Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho, with whom he has already worked before.

Manchester United already have their academy graduate Marcus Rashford, who has been outstanding last season and no. 9 Anthony Martial is also a good enough option for the striker position but still Jose wanted to sign a proper No.9 and who else could be better in that role other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic?!

However, the former Barcelona, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Ajax, Malmo, and PSG striker does not want to play as a backup striker and seeks an important role at the club. Now everything is up to the Portuguese boss if he is able to convince Ibrahimovic that he will get whatever he is seeking for then the deal is sealed!

The Swede international’s agent Mino Raiola is currently in France thus the move cannot be completed right now and the club, as well as the fans, will have to wait at least till next week for the deal to be completed. On the other hand agent, Raiola would also require a good amount of money to make the deal happen.

But for now, Ibrahimovic is preparing for Sweden’s first match in the EURO 2016 against Ireland which will be played on June 13th.
