Delhi Capitals squad: Delhi Capitals will be looking to lay their hands on the IPL trophy for the first time when they launch their campaign in IPL 2023. The Delhi-based outfit had a forgettable outing in IPL 2022.

Despite having a solid squad at their disposal, Delhi Capitals could not even make it to the playoffs. With 7 wins and as many losses, they finished the season at the fifth spot.

The strong squad is the reason why Delhi Capitals did not release too many players ahead of the IPL mini-auction despite failing to do well last season. They have released just 4 players and entered the auction with a purse of Rs 19.45 crores.

Before the auction, the ten franchises retained 163 players whereas 85 players were released from their existing squads.
