Though Conte was known for this system in his time with the Italian national team and in Turin, Conte decided to stick with a four-man defense line at the start of the season. But back to back losses to Liverpool and Arsenal saw Conte shift his system to a three at the back and ever since, they have lost just two games. They have been a team hard to break and with Conte able to play a similar lineup for most games, he has been able to add some chemistry to the team. They have been compact throughout the season and their defence has genuinely won them the title.
