He has been a genuine workhorse in the middle of the field and has helped Conte’s side add balance to both ends of the field. The Chelsea boss has done well to build his squad around the midfield tactician and has used him to break play up in dangerous areas to help open up opposition backlines. He is a match winner but the way Conte has used him at Chelsea has brought out the best from him.
