RPS
5 reasons why RPS performed poorly
  1. Injuries to key foreign players

Pune Super Giants started the tournament on a positive note by beating Mumbai Indians in the first match. Their first major blow came in the form of Kevin Pietersen who was injured while twisting his knee in the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. After few days South African player Faf Du Plessis was ruled out of the tournament. Another Australian player Mitchell Marsh was ruled out of the tournament due to injury and thenSteve Smith who was looking in brilliant form was ruled out because of wrist injury. Their replacements Usman Khawaja and George Bailey did not contribute to the team’s cause which led to downfall.
