India’s domestic circuit still strong and healthy:
The T20 frenzy of the IPL saw all the senior players’ bar Dhoni rested for this tour to Zimbabwe.
However, most of the players who were given a chance were knocking on the door over the last few years and have performed superbly well once they were given the opportunity. Though the Indian side was completely weakened, they never looked under the pump in Zimbabwe and got out of it in flying colors.
Surely BCCI will be hoping to accommodate more and more tours like these where the fringe Indian players can showcase their skills and make a case for their selection.
