Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata is linked with a move to Manchester United since the start of summer and his wife might have just dropped the biggest hint that the transfer is on the cards.
The Spanish striker has recently got married to Alice Campello and it was understood that the transfer talks were put on hold due to his wedding which happened a couple of weeks ago.
The 24-year old had a difficult season under Zidane as he played as an understudy to French striker Karim Benzema. He is willing to move away from Bernabeu this summer in search of more playing time.
Manchester United were very close to signing him with the club’s massive €75 million (£65.6m) bid rejected as the Los Blancos are considering a bid above £70million. The Spaniard became the top target for Jose Mourinho as Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann has committed his future to his club by signing a new deal.
Alice Campello, has just fueled the transfer speculations by following the Red Devil’s account on Instagram which could be the biggest hint that Morata is on his way to Premier League.

Despite a frustrating season at Real Madrid, Morata managed to score 20 goals for Los Blancos last season and made 6 assists in 43 appearances for the club across all competitions. However, he was largely used as an impact substitute by Zidane as he looks else were to play more regularly.
Jose Mourinho is determined to seal the deal for Morata before the start of the pre-season tour in United States. The Red Devils have already Victor Lindelof from Benfica in £30.6m and are keen to bring in more reinforcements for next season.
Manchester United do not have a top class striker after releasing Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this month and only have young strikers Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford in their roster to fill in the big shoes.
Considering the fact that United would be playing in Champions League next season, there is an essence to sign a world class striker and Morata would be an ideal fit as he is still young and devastating in front of goal.
