Arsenal Warn Barcelona: Hector Bellerin NOT For Sale! 1

Arsenal is adamant not to let go of one of their most important players amid interest from Barcelona this summer.

The Gunners will have a tough time this summer as they have failed to qualify for the Champions League next season and will find it hard to lure some of the best talents in Europe to the club before the start of the next season.

Wenger will want to improve his squad and is still looking at some additions to his squad but he will also be wary of the players who would want to leave this summer and one such player constantly linked with a move to Barcelona is Spanish full-back Hector Bellerin.

The 22-year old joined Arsenal a few years ago from the La Masia academy where he was unable to lift himself to the first team at the Camp Nou.

However, at the Emirates, he has established himself as one of the most important players in the squad and is now easily one of the best right-backs in Europe.

He was dropped to the bench by Wenger who used Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last month of the season and this has seen Bellerin linked with an exit this summer.

Barcelona has not been able to replace Dani Alves who left the club a year ago. They have used the likes of Sergi Roberto and Aleix Vidal at right back but are now convinced that Bellerin is the right man for this job.

However, Spanish news outfit Marca claims that Arsenal has now told Barcelona that Bellerin is not up for sale this summer.

According to the story, Barcelona has made an official approach for the player which was turned down by the English side.

It claims that Barcelona, who were initially ready to offer £36m for his services, are now offering £44m to Arsenal to land Bellerin this summer but Wenger is not ready to let him go anytime soon.

The Catalan giants are desperate and are also ready to use midfielder Arda Turan, who is wanted by Arsenal, as a part of the deal to land Bellerin this summer.

It will be interesting to see if Barcelona can tempt the Spaniard back to his hometown.
