India’s dewam day at the Asian Games continues as the Archers and Women’s Squash teams have won two silvers and a Bronze inbetween them. India have their men’s Squash team in the finals of the men’s team event in few minutes and will look to end an outstanding day on a high by winning a Gold in it.

Archer Trisha Dev defeated Huang I Jou of Chinese Taipei to win yet another Bronze medal for India in Compound Women’s Individual match.
India’s much anticipated women’s Squash team settled for a silver medal in Women’s Team event after losing the final against Malaysia 0-2. It all began with Anaka Alankamony who lost 11-9, 12-10, 11-2 to Odetta Arnold of Malaysia in 1st match of the final before Gold Medal winner Nicole David saw off India’s no.1 Dipika Pallikkal 11-7, 11-6, 11-3.
India’s Sania Mirza-Prarthana Thombre beat Thailand’s pair of Peangtarn Plipuech-Nicha Lertpitaksinchai 6-1, 7-6 and qualified for the Women’s Doubles Semi-finals.
Two more Bronze beckon India as India’s women wrestlers Vinesh and her cousin Geethika are in Bronze medal classification round. Vinesh lost to Eri Tosaka of Japan 4-6 in Women’s Freestyle 48 kg Semi-final whereas Geetika Jakhar loses against China’s Zhuoma Xiluo in Women’s Freestyle 63 kg Semi-final.
