For some of the fans, WWE Royal Rumble is the most unpredictable event of the year. In 2020, it seems like perhaps the most unpredictable set of Rumble matches in years will be waiting.
Unlike the last couple of years, no favorites can really be predicted at this point. Even the championship matchups can’t be predicted, for now except for the two confirmed matches.
Brock Lesnar’s WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Opponent Is Yet To Be Decided
The 2020 Royal Rumble match card now has two championship contests, as of now. Daniel Bryan will challenge The Fiend Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship.
In the second lineup, one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Asuka will challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE RAW Women’s Championship. This gives a chance to the challenger to become a Grand Slam Champion.
Asuka has been the most dominant NXT Women’s Champion in the history of the third WWE brand, present. Moving into the main roster, she picked up the SmackDown Women’s Title in 2018 and the tag team titles with Kairi Sane, earlier this year.
Cain Velasquez Returning To Action At WWE Royal Rumble 2020?
This leaves only one title for her to achieve from the women’s division which she could accomplish at Royal Rumble PPV on January 26.
Asuka has been on a roll ever since turning heel during the fall. At this point, she is the most legitimate contender on Monday Night RAW to possibly face Becky Lynch on such a big event like Royal Rumble.
It is going to be a rematch from last year’s Rumble event where Asuka defeated Lynch for the SmackDown Women’s Title. She looks to do it again as claimed by her on social media.

As reported by ringsidenews.com, the unpredictability around Royal Rumble 2020 continues as Becky Lynch can expect another woman to arrive on the scene and chase her down even if she retains,
“With the looming threat of Ronda Rousey’s potential return still hanging over the head of Lynch, it seems like it could be tough for Asuka to get the job done. Then again, WWE loves to throw us some curveballs around this time of year, and Rousey could quite easily appear regardless of the result.”
