Bayley has been the SmackDown Women’s Champion since FOX debut of the show on October 11 where she defeated Charlotte Flair to win the gold.

It was also the night where she solidified her heel turn with a completely new look and attitude. The sudden villainous turn appeared to be quite organic as WWE could feed her off boos from the audience attending the show.
But without a lack of planning, the character fell short. Plus, Sasha Banks is stealing the thunder by appearing by her side on every week’s SmackDown.
However, Bayley seems to be enjoying her new look and persona. In a recent interview with The Detroit News, she discussed her recent change in character. She noted on cutting down her signature ponytail saying the following,
“It felt great. I knew what I wanted to do and I knew what I needed to do. But the actual snip of the ponytail, I was a little in shock. My hair was the longest I’ve ever had it, and I’ve had that freakin’ ponytail for seven years. The last time my hair was this short, I was 10 years old.” (courtesy sescoops.com)
