Bengal Warriors beat Dabang Delhi in a very closely contested match at Thagraj Stadium, Delhi in the first match of the day. Both teams defense was good and Bengal Warriors did well to register a win.

Kun Lee captained Bengal Warriors, won the toss and chose the court. Ravinder Singh Pahal captained Dabang Delhi . Rohit Chowdhary and Vineet Sharma had first empty raids for Dabang Delhi D and Bengal Warriors respectively. Kashiling Adke also had empty raid for Dabang Delhi D. Lee was tackled by Pahal holding the ankle and supported by others. Kashiling also earned a touch point in his 2nd raid taking Dabang Delhi D to 2-0 lead in fourth minute.  In the do or die raid Rajput earned a touch point. Kashiling Adke was tackled in the next donor die raid in an attempt of earning bonus point taking BW to 2-2.  Dadaso Awad had an empty raid. Lee earned a touch point. Rohit Chowdhary  also had empty raid. Rohit was tackled ver well holding both knees supported by other defender. Sandeep Tomar of Dabang Delhi also had first empty raid. Mohinder Rajput met super tackle captured by Surender taking the score to 4 all in 10th minute. Sandeep earned a point in his second and do or die raid to get a point’s lead to Dabang Delhi D. Adke had another empty raid. Lee in do or die raid was tackled lifting him entirely. Sachin Khambe had an empty raid. Awad was also tackled in the next do or die raid reducing Delhi lead by one point. Adke was poorly tackled by Yadav taking Delhi to 7-5. Rajput was tackled in a do or die raid by Amit Chillar with support from another player taking their point tally to 8. Sachin had another empty raid. Rohit Chodhary was super tackled to earn 2 points to Bengal Warriors. Vineet in a do or die raid escaped a tackle to take the score to 8 all in 19th minute. Lee was tackled in the last raid of Bengal Warriors and Rohit had an empty raid just before half time when score stood at 9-8 in favor of Delhi. Both teams had earned 5 points each from tackle while raid points were less.

After the break Vineet Sharma and Rohit Chowdhary had empty raids. Nilesh Shinde  and Adke also had an empty raid. In the do or die raid Vineet earned a touch point in a bad tackle by Pahal near mid line. Rohit was tackled by Khambe as raider and Rohit had gone out of court in the scuffle getting one point each team taking the score to 10 all. Adke earned a touch point by touching  Vineet. Rajput in do or die raid was tackled by Pahal holding his ankle taking Delhi’s lead to 2 points. Sachin had empty raid and Rohit was super tackle by Vikas Mane taking the score to 12 all. Adke was tackled. After taking Technical time out umpire gave one point to each team which BW asked for a video referral for a player going out of back line that was upheld and they got another point to take a points lead. Lee was tackled in next raid to equal the score at 13. Sandeep Tomar and Dadso Awad had an empty raid each. Sachin had empty raid. Sandeep Tomar was tackled in do or die raid by Sachin Khambe taking a points lead. Vineet Sharma was tackled in his raid to take the score to 14 all. Pahal was shown green card for intervening during a raid. Adke earned a touch point touching Nilesh in do or die raid getting Dabang Delhi one point lead. Kedar Lal earned 2 touch points to get a points to Bengal Warriors in 35th minute. After technical time out Dadaso and Rajput had one empty raid each. Sandeep Tomar and  Kedar Lal also had an empty raids. In the next do or die raid Dadaso Awad was tackled taking BW lead to 2 points. Rajput earned a touch point to increase the lead to 3 in 38t h minute. Selvamani  was tackled poorly earning 2 touch point to reduce the lead to only one when Delhi took time out. Rajput and Adke twice for  Kedar Lal had empty raids. Rajput earned a touch point and then Adke was tackled in the final raid of the day, Bengal Warrior won 20-17 finally in a low scoring match. Tackle points of 12 by BW and 9 of DD decided the match in favor of Bengal Warrior.
