Mohammed Siraj
Mohammed Siraj is another Indian pacer who impressed everyone with his bowling in IPL 2021. The Royal Challengers Bangalore’s pacer bowled great yorkers and emerged out as a death over specialist for RCB. He had great confidence while bowling. Siraj took 6 wickets in 7 matches but bowled at a great economy of 7.34.
Siraj bagged the limelight on two occasions. First, in the match against Kolkata Knight Riders, he only gave one run in the 19th over with Andre Russell on strike. Andre Russell was hitting big shots in the match and took the match close with 44 needed off 12 balls. However, Siraj bowled a great penultimate over and took the victory away from KKR.
Second, he successfully defended 14 runs in the match against Delhi Capitals. Although Delhi Capitals had crucial batsmen like Rishabh Pant and Shimron Hetmyer on strike, Siraj managed to bag victory for RCB by 1 run.
