Randy Orton Challenges Edge To A ‘Wrestling’ Match At WWE Backlash
Peyton Royce and Billie Kay returned as guests a very special edition of “A Moment of Bliss” segment hosted by the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. A verbal argument led to The IIconics challenging the champions to a match on WWE Raw. Bliss and Cross granted them the requested match, in a non-title affair. The match ended with the returnees getting upper-hand with their mean antics.

Billie Kay took a cheap shot on Alexa Bliss’ throat and double-teamed on her with Peyton Royse to get the pinfall win on WWE Raw. Pinning the champions earned The IIconics a title shot, next week.
It was confirmed that Bliss and Cross will be defending their belts against Billie and Peyton on a night where WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will also be in action in WWE Raw vs Smackdown crossover match.

Peyton Royce and Billie Kay previously had a run with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles which continued from April 7, 2019, at WrestleMania 35, to August 5, 2019, WWE RAW episode.
They won the titles from Sasha Banks and current SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley but then lost them to Bliss and Cross. Cross and Bliss then lost the belts to The Kabuki Warriors in October 2019 at Hell In a Cell and regained them at WrestleMania 36 last month.

The IIconics were off WWE TV since November 2019. It was reported in early February that WWE may launch them in a re-packaged way which was never confirmed.
Before last night’s return on WWE Raw, The IIconics hadn’t wrestled since their loss to current WWE NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch on November 18, 2019 episode of WWE Raw. After that, we have only spotted them in a pre-taped WWE Shop Black Friday segment with R-Truth.
