The first episode of WWE RAW of 2020 witnessed Big Show making his return to be the mystery partner for Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens in the main event. It was a six-man tag team contest against Seth Rollins and The Authors of Pain.

The match ended in disqualification as AOP started ganging up on the returnee. But this in turn set up the “Fist Fight” six-man match for next Monday’s RAW.

We should note that the first WWE Raw episode of this decade marked Big Show’s first match since November 2018. Many have thought of not seeing this WWE Veteran back in the scene, ever.

But the former WWE Champion continued returning on programming for the umpteenth occasion.

Official YouTube channel released a post-WWE RAW video of Sarah Schreiber talking to Big Show about how rough his situation has been for the past year and a half.

He has been involved in some acting while being away from WWE. In the meantime, he underwent 5 hip surgeries during this hiatus from in-ring competition.

The World’s Largest Athlete also talked about how his faith was really tested while away,

“Tonight was amazing. After going through 5 hip surgeries in a year and a half, to be able to take a phone call from a friend, a peer in the business, to come out in front of this incredible crowd tonight, and get back in the ring in almost a year and a half, and be competitive… I’m just extremely humbled and grateful.

“They say what doesn’t break you makes you stronger, and I think my faith in my career, and my faith in myself, and my faith in this business was tested for the past 2 years like it’s never been tested before, and I’m just extremely grateful for the fans, and we’ll see what happens next week.”

It was then when the interviewer informed about the big main event match for next week’s WWE Raw. Big Show was obviously glad to hear about the Fist-fight stipulation since he is the greatest knock-out puncher in the company’s history.

So, he was all smiling while talking about the matchup lined up for the show set to emanate from the Rupp Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
