Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler is the one who has been indirectly involved with the ongoing storyline featuring Bobby Lashley and Lana. He has hosted a couple of segments to resolve issues between these two and Rusev, on WWE Raw.

Even the live divorce segment between Rusev and Lana was also handled by the veteran superstar. So he might be one of the right-most persons to open up on the ongoing drama starring the trio.

WWE To Continue Bobby Lashley-Lana Storyline Until Wrestlemania 36?

WWE legend and current RAW commentator Jerry Lawler recently made comments regarding the Lana, Rusev and Bobby Lashley storyline on his PodcastOne show.

He noted how the online ‘hate’ for the weekly ‘soap’ style segments being produced on WWE Raw is increasing. But the crowd present in the building live-in-persons are more receptive to the angle.

Before noting on the backlashes towards the angle, Jerry Lawler noted on the taped show that will be airing this Monday for Christmas week.

FBI Contacted Lana For Death Threats Over Bobby Lashley Storyline In WWE

He could not reveal what will be stored on the show as this would reveal the spoiler. But there’s something huge waiting in the angle that should garner interests among the fans, (courtesy sescoops.com)

“I can’t do a spoiler but something happens with Lana, Lashley, and Rusev on that show. There’s gonna be a big deal, and it’s going to make the show after Christmas the biggest deal ever. You just gotta watch what happens on the Christmas show. It’s going to set up the show after Christmas. It is going to be really awesome.”

Jerry Lawler continued saying the response from the live audience has been great towards this angle. It should be going down that way as the angle is pretty entertaining. So he does not understand why the online bullying continues towards Lana and Lashley for portraying their negative characters,

“We talked about this, it is so funny [in] the live arena in Des Moines there and also at Minneapolis at the PPV; The response from the crowd is great to the Lana, Lashley and Rusev storyline.

But online on Twitter and everything people seem to hate it. It gets like no respect, but the crowd at the Live Events…the people seem to love it. So I don’t get that [hate] response. I mean, I think it’s really entertaining, I really do.”

As reported earlier, both Lana and Bobby Lashley faced tremendous heat from the fans for doing this storyline. They both received death threats for agreeing to this storyline which is just a script and does not have any connection with reality.
