As noted earlier, a huge tag team match could be happening at Royal Rumble after what transpired at WWE TLC. The Revival’s Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder had a confrontation with the kick-off analyst, Booker T.

They eventually ended up challenging the Hall of Famer to bring back the Harlem Heat team with his brother, Stevie Ray. This was a direct challenge to set up a match at the upcoming 2020 edition of the PPV, later this month.

Previously, Booker T noted that he is giving a one week notice to WWE to set up Harlem Heat vs. The Revival for Royal Rumble. He himself believes the match could be happening and hence kept on getting back to shape. The gear-up process continues for him as seen in the recent picture posted on social media.

There’s no update available on whether WWE plans to make the match happening at Royal Rumble but Booker T is indeed sweating it out in the gym. The last time he competed in a WWE match was at WWE TLC in 2012 after which WWE inducted him into the Hall of Fame.

However, the five-time world champion never left the pledge of having one last match. A match against The Revival could be a perfect one at Royal Rumble only if WWE officials decide so.

Meanwhile, the chances are pretty low in reality to witness Harlem Heat vs. The Revival at Royal Rumble. No storyline progression was done in this context on SmackDown in recent times.

Plus, The Revival has recently hinted to go away from the WWE for sometimes. Scott Dawson tweeted out that he will be going away for a while with Wilder because they need to figure “everything” out.

It could only mean that they will be away from WWE TV programming at least for sometimes if not forever. Their contracts with the company will soon be up for grabs.

The current deal will expire, this spring and WWE already offered them another lucrative one possibly for another five years. But they are on a mission of becoming the best tag team in the pro-wrestling which might lead them out of the WWE.
