In a recent interview with The Detroit Sports, Bayley noted why her heel-turn was much-needed,

“Character-wise and personally, mostly personally, it was much needed. I really go off my emotions or what I’m passionate about at the time, and there came a point where I was like, ‘I don’t even know what I’m fighting for anymore.’ That’s when it hit me, and I was like, something needs to change. And that was it.”

2020 is also likely to be a big year for both Bayley and Charlotte Flair. Bayley is still the SmackDown Women’s Champion who may just continue the reign until WrestleMania 36.

Charlotte Flair jas just announced herself as the first entrant in the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble match as she now eyes to get back the Raw Women’s Championship, sooner. We’ll have to see how many titles they include in their accolades this year.
