Olivier Giroud:
Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Olivier Giroud will join his team-mates at Arsenal just a week before the Premier League starts.
Wenger has granted the French striker an extended break of four weeks rather than the usual three-week break following Euro 2016, and with Danny Welbeck out injured, Arsenal will have no proper striker to start the game.
Wenger could use Chuba Akpom or Theo Walcott up front as a number 9.
