Cricketers celebrated PV Sindhu’s victory against Japanese shuttler Nozomi Okuhara in the semifinal of badminton. Now the 22-year-old badminton star ensured silver medal, but her aggressive brand of play already stimulated many to dream of a gold medal. Sindhu will now play the final against World No. 1 Carolina Marin of Spain. Her victory a day after wrestler Sakshi Malik’s bronze medal haul that helped India to open their medal count in Rio, but it came too late. Now only three days left from the final day of the Rio Olympic.
