Manchester United were given a huge boost in their pursuit of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo as his reply to a question about his future drew an interesting reply.
French manager Zinedine Zidane became the first manager to win two Champions League trophies in two years as he helped the Real Madrid side to their 12th European title in what was just his second year at the club.
He has now won the league title and the Champions League title with Los Blancos but a lot of credit has to go to the former Manchester United man Cristiano Ronaldo.
Having scored 10 goals in the last three knockout rounds of the Champions League last season, Ronaldo has shown that age is not catching up to him, at least yet.

He was yet again one of the most influential players in Europe and still seems to be getting better if that is even possible.
He has now scored 600 career goals and has surpassed Jimmy Greaves’ record for most goals scored in European league football.
And at just 32, he still has a few years of elite football left under his belt. He is also one of the fittest players around and can be at his best at least for another year but his latest comments raise a doubt of it is at the Spanish capital.
The Portuguese star moved to the Bernabeu more than five years ago and has easily won everything possible. He won three Ballon d’Or’s in his career and has very little to achieve in club football, at least in Spain.

So he may yet be looking for new challenges and his latest comments only support such a claim.
When asked about his future by a journalist from Deportes Cuatro (via The Sun), Cristiano Ronaldo was in no mood to give up anything but did leave a lasting impression and replied ‘Nothing is Impossible’ with a grin on his face.
This will be music to the ears of the hierarchy at Old Trafford who will now surely make an official move for the player this summer.
He will not be available on the cheap but as Ronaldo said, nothing is impossible and we might see the Red Devils break the bank yet again for his signature.
