WWE SmackDown star and a former two times WWE World Champion Drew McIntyre who is also a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently talked about the return of the former WWE NXT champion Johnny Gargano and expressed his excitement about it.
Johnny Gargano is a former three times NXT North American champion recently made his return to WWE Monday Night RAW. His return was rumoured as soon as Triple H became the Head of Creative of WWE since he was one of the favourite of the King of Kings. And the rumour turned out to be true when he made his return directly on to the main roster.
Drew McIntyre Expresses His Excitement To See Johnny Gargano Back
Before leaving the promotion in 2021, Gargano had been one of the biggest attractions of the NXT who won all the possible championships in the division. He is the only three times NXT North American champion in the history so far. He had been an excellent Tag Team wrestler as well as a main event star.
We are pretty sure that he is going to be a huge success in the main roster as well. Since Triple H is the Head of Creative of WWE right now, Gargano will definitely receive better bookings. He will definitely win championships and we hope we will see him in the main event scenario soon.
Drew McIntyre who is also a former two times WWE Tag Team Champion recently spoke to The Bump where he talked about the return of the former WWE NXT champion Johnny Gargano and expressed his excitement about it. He said;
“Very exciting to see Johnny back. I tweeted a picture of himself and myself as the EVOLVE Tag Team Champions. Johnny’s such an incredible talent. One of my biggest matches and when I really showed the world what I was capable of in-ring outside of WWE during my independent run was at Dragon Gate USA,” Says Drew McIntyre.
“[It was] an EVOLVE Championship match with Johnny. He made me raise my game. I did win that match, and it really showed what I could do in the ring. We became the first-ever EVOLVE Tag Team Champions, spent time in NXT together.
“He achieved all this NXT success, but I didn’t imagine he would get the opportunity, a real opportunity, on Raw or SmackDown. He’s getting it right now. He’s earned it, he deserves it.”
