Monday Night Raw opened with none other than the Scottish Psychopath who did not think twice to choose his WrestleMania opponent. In a promo segment at the beginning of the show, Drew McIntyre named Brock Lesnar as his opponent at the showcase of immortals. The most prestigious prize in sports entertainment will be on the line as this would be one of the main events of the night.

Brock Lesnar was in a foul mood after what went down at Royal Rumble. Drew McIntyre eliminated The Beast Incarnate at a point when he eliminated thirteen consecutive names to dominate the Rumble match. So Lesnar delivered his WrestleMania 36 opponent with an F5 after he defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a Handicap Match with great ease.

Following this altercation on Raw, WWE.com confirmed the first marquee match at WrestleMania 36,

“In a career-making performance, McIntyre tossed out six of his fellow competitors in the annual extravaganza and notched one of the most unforgettable eliminations in WWE history when he tattooed Lesnar with a Claymore Kick that nearly knocked him into the stratosphere.

Drew needed less than 24 hours to select which titleholder he wanted to challenge at The Show of Shows, as he vowed to defeat Lesnar at WrestleMania. Will Lesnar remind everyone why he is the most feared fighter on the planet, or will McIntyre at long last seize championship glory at The Showcase of the Immortals? Find out at WrestleMania 36.”

It’s been more than a decade that Drew McIntyre made his debut in the WWE who was handpicked by Mr. McMahon. He is finally on the verge of living up to the “The Chosen One” gimmick after earning the first-ever singles WWE Championship shot of his career.

With WWE officials very high on him, this young superstar might be getting ready to slay the beast at the grandest stage of them all.
