The Rated R Superstar made his much-anticipated return on WWE Raw to send a clear message to his rival Randy Orton that he won’t go down with a fight, at all. Orton managed to escape a Con-chair-to attack as Edge made that up on MVP who was talking gibberish with the mic in hand. The match between Edge and Randy Orton has not been confirmed for WrestleMania 36, to date as these two led the fight, backstage.

Before Edge made his entrance on WWE Raw, we saw MVP stood center of the ring to boast that he was there to “raise others to championship status” and wishes to “build [his] stable” around Edge.

The promises continued as MVP said, “I can lead Edge back to the prominence he once had but he has to focus. He has to listen to me.” In the meantime, Edge’s theme song ‘You Think You Know Me’ hit the arena as the 11-time world champion arrived at the ring.

MVP beckoned Edge to the ring who paid the least attention to him. Edge called Randy Orton out to the ring, telling him to “grow a set.”

MVP continued to disturb Edge saying he is “focusing on the wrong thing” and asked, “how is your wife.” Edge replied MVP with a crushing Spear.

Randy Orton tried to take advantage of the moment by sneaking into the ring, but Edge countered hitting him with an RKO. Edge went outside the ring to grab two chairs in hand but Orton bailed out of the ring as Edge turned his attention back to MVP.

The Master Manipulator then delivered an RKO to MVP on a steel chair. He then smashed MVP’s head with a steel chair against another, performing the Con-chair-to. He confirmed this attack toward MVP is a brutal warning for Orton as he uttered: “This is you, Randy!”

The attack did not stop there as the crowd asked Edge for one more Con-chair-to and he obliged by sending the steel home again. He then ran after Randy Orton backstage to end the segment. These two are likely to collide in a No Holds Barred match at WrestleMania 36.

The rivalry between these two has begun since Edge eliminated Randy Orton at the Royal Rumble PPV. The program continued to escalate as Orton brutalized the Rated R Superstar using a steel chair. Last week, he even delivered an RKO to Edge’s wife, Hall of Famer, Beth Phoenix. The intriguing storyline will continue through the upcoming weeks leading up to the biggest event of the year on April 5th.
