Despite his denials on a number of occasions, several media outlets have already confirmed that it will indeed happen. Additionally, the latest update almost confirmed that a Royal Rumble entry is almost confirmed for him.

According to Wrestlezone’s Bill Prichard, the WWE Hall of Famer will be making his in-ring return after almost 9 years of his retirement. It will happen during the Men’s Royal Rumble 2020 match. Edge is notably scheduled to be an early entrant during the prestigious match that sets up the Road to WrestleMania. Here’s more on the return,
“A source speaking with Wrestlezone recently said Edge will make his in-ring return, and we can expect to see him as an entrant in the 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble match.
No other details were shared about if this is a one-off appearance or if we could see him return for more, but the source noted Edge in the Rumble match is a ‘lock’ and that he’s currently tabbed as a very early entrant in the match.”
Huge WrestleMania Match Rumored Featuring WWE Hall Of Famer Edge
As reported earlier, Edge is supposed to get into a feud upon his first appearance in the WWE that should be culminating a match at WrestleMania 35.
The appearance at Royal Rumble should not be a one-off by any means as his signed contract with WWE will run through a number of PPV events in the near future. He may be a part of the upcoming Saudi Arabia show in February, as well.
