Roger Federer beats Andy Murray in the semi finals of men’s singles at the Wimbledon 2015 just few moments ago. It was a great display by Federer who dominated Murray.

The semi-finals between Andy Murray and Roger Federer was a treat to all Tennis lovers. Federer won the first set 7-5 as he broke the 12th game on Murray’s serve.

The second set was a real fight. Federer broke Murray’s serve and took lead. In the 10th game at 5-4 , Federer took a 40-0 lead. Then Murray fought back to make it Deuce. It was a treat to tennis lovers which went on for 7 serial Deuce and finally Murray won the game to make it 5 all. The fifth Deuce went for a 23-shot rally. Of course holding his serve Federer broke the 12th game served by Murray and won the second set at 7-5.

The third set was also fought on equal performance each one holding their service until 4-4. While Federer held his service with ease, Murray did so with some resistance from the opponent. Federer won 27 out of 40 net shots. Federer held his 5th serve in the 9th game with ease again and took a lead of 30-0 in 10th game. Murray did comeback and equalled at 30-all taking the next 2 points. Federrer took the lead again and then went on to win the set at 6-4.

In the match, Federer hit 20 aces as compared 12 from Andy Murray. Federer hit 56 return shots as compared to 35 of Andy Murray. Roger Federer broke the service thrice as compared to 1 by Andy Murray.

Andy Murray was playing in front of home crowd with great support and he played a great game but Federer was ace and matched him point by point and was able to snatch the lead 10th to 12th game. He won his 10th out of his 10 semi-final played so far at Wimbledon.

Roger Federer will meet Novak Dokovjic in the finals.
